Sonar Platinum Lexington crashes after audio export.

I´m having an issue when exporting audio files from Sonar Platinum Lexington.

Most of the times (however this does vary a bit), the audio export process completes, and then Sonar crashes.
MP3 (using LAME) or plain WAV export does not make a difference.

Quite often, there´s an "Error - Unhandled Exception" window coming up, stating:
"A fatal error has occured. Module: c:\program files\cakewalk\shared utilities\internal\PCS-BusCM.dll" and some other things regarding the crash.

I´ve tried disabling plugins, updating all drivers, tried all kinds of settings, removed and reinstalled SONAR. Nothing helped. What to do? 64 bit engine does not make a difference either.

System information:
HP Z210 Workstation, Xeon E3-1270, 16GB RAM, 500GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD, RME Babyface.

Sonar & most of the plugins were installed in Win7 64bit environment, before the Win10 upgrade. I´m wondering if a clean Win10 install would help.

    Hi. I found this
    https://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013293/Missing-Plug-ins-ProChannel-modules-resulting-from-8-3-Short-Name-file-optimizat
    Hope it helps.
    All the best.

Thanks Ken, I checked the article but it seemed my installation was not suffering from this particular issue. Thanks for letting me know, though.

So, it seems I´ve solved the problem. After realizing that the DLL in the error message actually is a specific prochannel module (PC4K bus compressor), I disabled it and tried a few exports. Voila! No crashes.

I was using the PC4K for sidechaining purposes but for now, I´ll be using the good old Sonitus plugins instead until this issue is fixed.

Strange I do a lot of exporting and I usually have 2 or more instances of the PC4K bus compressor and I never had that problem.  Usually if/when I crash its while closing a project with Amplitude in it.
