Sonar Platinum Saved the day...

1) Back up Hard drive crashed.
2) Managed to get most all the CWB off the HD during the last session it came alive for me.
3) I specifically left old projects to the last that I knew I had backed up on CD ROM and DVD.
4) Then Hard drive totally died, it was no longer showing up as a drive, and these old projects were not recovered.
5) Got all but one of the CWB (bundles) that I saved years ago (Sonar 2 or 3 probably) off the CD and DVD onto my new backup.
6) This one very large project on CD ROM would not extract no matter what I tried and kept crashing WIN 10 explorer.
7) I thought...why not try to have SPLAT open the CWB direct from the CD ROM ???
8) Success...Sonar opened the CWB and I was able to save on my new hard drive.

Amazing !

They say if you are not backed up in at least 3 places, you are not really backed up.

I've recently been opening CWB files that I created in Sonar 1 around the turn of the century (just like saying that). No issues other than missing plug-ins. Glad it worked out for ya!
