Sonar Platinum and VS700C control surface

Hi,
I have a vs700c control surface connected to sonar platinum. everything works fine except when I press the console button on the control surface it opens half the control view screen  and half of the tracking view screen. Can someone tell me how to get the full console view open when i press the console button on the control surface instead of the affore mentioned behavior. This worked fine for me in sonar x3e when a toggle between tracking view and control view but seems to be broken in platinum. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    try SHIFT+TRACK and SHIFT+CONSOLE to jump between maximized versions of track cview and consle view ... that usually works ...
