Sonar Platinum can't find Waves Tune VST

The 64 bit WavesTune.dll file is in C:/program files/common files/vst3, and that folder is being scanned by Cakewalk.  But nothing.  Anybody experience this or know what to look for?  Thx!

Version 9 of Waves has the following note about supported hosts:

"Waves Tune & Tune LT: are supported on the following hosts: Pro Tools (AAX Native 64-bit, RTAS & Audiosuite only), Logic Pro, Nuendo, Cubase, Studio One, and Ableton Live (Arrangement view only. Clip view not supported.)."

So (apparently) no Sonar support, at least in the latest version...

Hi, I no longer use or have Sonar installed (moved over to Studio One), but I can confirm for you that Waves Tune does in fact work fine with Sonar , as do all the other Waves plugs I own. Wouldn't worry to much about the supported hosts list in this case. (I actually prefer Waves Tune over Melodyne 4 Studio or Izotope's Necktar 2 Production Suite for basic stuff)
    Try a complete rescan.

And don't forget when using it you'll need ReWire running

That means you've installed it. Have you also activated it via the Waves Central app?

    Waves Central is SO confusing...

This is a demo that I was not activating with a license, so I "installed" instead of "install and activate".  When I "install and activate" the demo Sonar can find it.  Live and learn.  THANKS for the help!  :)

I had the same problem with their Inphase plugin. Even had Waves support fail to help me. I took it off my Ilok and saved it to my computer and then it showed up.
