Sonar Platinum is awesome

My most extensive use came in the last 5 hours. I've had Platinum since January of this year but haven't so much as updated it. Took an old mix and made it superior just now on Yamaha HS5's.  I started way back on 2.0 and have to say the editing/mixing has come along way. I was in to mixing/studio teching very much so 10 years ago, then things like Plastic Sales, women, houses, kids, houses, kids and more houses, and other things came first. I am making it a priority to put music at least 3rd on the list now.  Can't build out any more rooms or do any more landscaping than I have.

Now to mix down and A/B on some other speakers.

Hopefully I'm back. I miss this.

If it's not in the mix, it's not in the master

I agree, rock solid with Win 10.

Everything I record these days sounds so much better with less effort.

I wish I could say that, and I wish I could say it was the software's fault. :)

All I can say is editing has come along way, edited three 4 minute Tom tracks with scrubbing, fades, cuts and gain nodes in about 10 min. Love it. Also used melodyne for the first time on some questionable vocals. It did more than expected. Can't wait to keep digging.

If you have the bucks to upgrade to Melodyne Editor, it will do way more than you ever expected.

I think a good system good tools enables you to work harder better and produce better products...even though I am sure many people have made hits with Sonar from other versions.
