Sonar Platinum lifetime updates - 32 bit systems

Hi all. Finally they have listened so Drums are not their only interest, just getting my feet wet with lifetime updates. having problems with older 32 bit drivers? being obsoleted by both Win 10 and Sonar? suggestions anyone?

You list a 64bit Operating system, yet you say you're having problems with 32 bit drivers.  A 64bit OS needs 64bit drivers.  You cannot use 32bit drivers on a 64bit version of Windows.

The only solution is to upgrade to a card that comes with 64bit drivers.

Note: I had the same issue with an old Yamaha SW1000XG MIDI card - no 64 bit drivers, so I just got a cheap PC, placed the SW1000XG MIDI card in that and controlled it using a USB to MIDI cable from the Windows 7 64bit machine to the the Windows 7 32bit machine.

    Windows 10 64bit fully patched, 16 gig ram .
    PCR-800 Controller.  (Working in Win 10 1809 64bit)
    CPU: i5 4670.
    Video: Nvidia GTX560ti (latest drivers).
Audio IF: Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen

    Internet always on.

Strange it worked before in an older 64 bit system, Roland is not making 64 bit drivers for my product and Korg makes 64bit drivers but they are not recognized by Sonar Platinum

    I own - A roland SH-201 synth, a korg pad control, all the other units work fine - a M-audio 88 key, a couple of Casio 61 key prior to 2000, a akia 18, a NI Mikro Maschine, Masterkey 61, a Keytar, a-300 and a SL49 Compact

You shouldn't need a special driver for the Roland synth or the Korg controller. Both should work with generic drivers, MIDI being a universal lingua franca.

I have, for example, an M-Audio keyboard controller with programmable pads, faders, buttons and knobs. Each transmits a distinct CC that I have to look up in the documentation but once I know that it's a simple matter to tell a soft synth what to do with each one.

Of all my old gear, there's only one device that flat out won't work anymore - my beloved Frontier Tranzport. I really miss it. But at least one user here is managing to use his Tranzport under Win 10, so there's even hope for that one.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
