Sonar Platinum missing addictive drums
Hey guys - I purchased Platinum -finally- and downloaded the XLN Audio installer. When I sign in to my XLN account I only see my previous purchase of AD1. How am I supposed to redeem the included version of AD2 and expansion packs? Cakewalk doesn't have any way of linking my Cakewalk account and XNL account.
Thanks for any thoughts or assistance. Mike

Hi Zargg71 - Thanks for the thought, but no it doesn't. I installed the online installer and sign in to my XNL account through that. It only lists my previous XNL purchase of AD1. There is no where to download the "Sonar package" of AD2 + packs. There is no way for Cakewalk to know my XNLAudio account to put anything in there. Maybe I am missing something, but whatever solution there is to this, is not obvious or explained in the documentation.

Is there a redemption code for AD2 in your CW account? IIRC, the code to redeem was in the CW after purchase, and needed to be manually redeemed from XLN.
ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.

This is correct. When I look in either the Command Center or at the website for Cakewalk> My Account> My Products> XLN Addictive Drums 2, I have a serial number for XLN AD 2 listed. The downloaded setup instructions from Cakewalk say to go here to activate and download the product: https://www.xlnaudio.com/install Click Windows Online Installer. This will download the xln-online-installer-win.zip file, which contains the XLN Online Installer. Right-click this file, select Extract All… then the [Extract] button. A new folder called xln-online-installer-win will appear, open it then double-click XLN Online Installer 64-bit (double-click XLN Online Installer 32-bit if you’re on 32-bit Windows) then follow the prompts to begin the authorization and installation process. Use the serial number provided by Cakewalk as the activation key in the XLN installer. Register your Product Keys by clicking on the 'Register Products' button in the XLN Online Installer (the buttton at the very top). If you are logged in to the XLN Audio web site, you can also register Product Keys on the 'My Products' page in 'My Account'. There is no need to register products bought in the XLN webshop, they are immediately added to your account. This is kind of like using a Cakewalk redemption code on the Cakewalk site to register a Cake product purchased at another re-seller.

Not really seeing where to "redeem" a code
Did you find the code in your CW account? IIRC, you use the "Register Product" at the top of the screen.
SonarPlat/CWbBL, Win 10 Pro, i7 2600K, Asus P8Z68 Deluxe, 16GB DDR3, Radeon HD5450, TC Electronic Impact Twin, Kawai MP11 Piano, Event ALP Monitors, Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro, Too Many Plugins, My lucky hat.

Use the "Register Product" button as shown in the top of the screen in your shot. Just to the right of the big XLN logo.
