Sonar Platinum on Parallels Desktop

Hi everyone !

I have a problem with Sonar on my Mac via Parallels Desktop 10.(Yosemite, Windows 10)

When I launch Sonar, I have a dll crash :

I don't have this problem when I launch it via Bootcamp but it's more effective in Parallels Desktop (reboot it's not required etc...)

Do you have the same problem ?
Do you have an idea to resolve my problem ?

Thank you very much :)

    Hi Mathayus.
I have run Sonar on 2 Macs in the past. The only way to do it with any kind of stability is to bootcamp the Mac and install windows (as you have obviously already done). In my experience the drivers in Paralells are very basic and not intended for complex software such as Sonar, and you are also sharing your system resources between two operating systems which is never good.
Stick with bootcamp and you will be fine:)

I don't run SONAR on the Mac, but have seen it run successfully with Parallels. However, Tenfoot is right - Boot Camp is a much better environment for running SONAR because the Mac essentially becomes a Windows machine.
