Sonar Plus, Sonar Skinner, and Panup's Mods with X1c
Here's my first reports... Knowing that these need to be updated for X1c before I try, I thought I would anyway to see what happens... Skinner complained, but worked fine to both edit and restore factory Sonar Plus blew up trying to auto-load Sonar, but seems to work fine when manually opening after Sonar X1c is running (gives warning) Sonar Mods will not install complaining that the dll is "wrong".... So I'm sure you guys are busy with your lives as well as checking out the new X1c.... Have fun and know that we still use your work, and still need you if/when you have the kung fu to further enhance your wonderful work! HA! I just fooled the system (we'll see if it has repercussions). I used a safety of my Panu-Mod, Skinner-edited ttsrew90 and it's got my braphics back where they we're... Getting around the Mod's inability to use the X1c ttsres90 file.... Let's see if this will post. Last attempt failed! Much Thanks... Keni

I tested darkside 1.31 X1b English x64. It installed perfectly and now I've got X1c with Dark Side. More compatibility info coming later at sonarmods.com forum.

As I mentioned in another post. Reindeer 1.33 for X1b works fine for me as do the rounded faders. i didn't even bother uninstalling the mods before I updated figuring that TTRes90.dll would be updated by X1C and it was. Both the TTSRes90.dll and SONARPDR.exe are at version 18.0.3.319

mudgel i Cna't get SONAR Plus to work anymore Did you try running it manually? I mean to first open Sonar by itself, and then load Sonar plus... Not using the sonar-auto-start function Plus has...? Keni

Yes... It runs fine that way here too... But I found a major problem for me here... I just discovered that using the Orfeus 2.04 mod with my alterations (the old ttres90 from before installing X1c) is casuing a bad situation somehow... I cannot open PRV... It crashes X1c everytime (PRV is in MSI mode) As soon as I revert to the X1c ttres90, all is well (except for my eyes.... I forgot how hard it is for me to look at the normal X1 "colors"... <sigh>... MSI mode makes the PRV open as it did in 8.5.3 instead of in the multidock (which I don't use at all)

Hi Folks, Unfortunately (well, fortunately for me!), I'm on vacation next week, and up to my eyeballs in deadlines for the rest of this week. Rest assured I will update SONAR Plus and the Skin Editor, but it won't be for a couple of weeks I'm afraid. The good news is that Plus still works (as Keni and others have already pointed out), but for the moment you have to start SONAR first, and then run Plus afterwards via the SONAR Utilities menu. I'll be back! Ben

An issue if using the old X1b ttsres90.dll with X1c.... I don't know if everyone will run into this (or other things), but here's one item that's a bad problem.... There's something different about the dll and using the old one caused my PRV not to open and crash Sonar.... So I doubt it's the actual mod that's the issue. More liekly some other item different between the two dll's... Keep an eye out... Keni

Isn't that called MDI? As in "Multiple Document Interface"?

Not that it matters. Glad to see you've got it sorted out for now.

MDI? That could be... I think maybe msi is another file type for downloads/updates? sorry for the confusion... and thanks for the correction... Also a note... I can use Sonar Skinner to apply the color changes of my old setup to the new ttres90 and all is well as far as Sonar operation... It's no longer a problem as the correct ttres90 is now in use... Two issues to note here... 1) Sonar Skinner reminds me that the skin was designed for a newer (Yeah, I know that's backwards) version of Sonar, then proceeds to apply it with no problems... 2) certain items that Skinner doesn't yet support are not modified as they were by applying Panup's Sonar Mod I previously had to first apply the mod, then merge my update... so for now, I've got a few things "not quite right", but at least everything is working (so far?)... There are a few additions in the X1c TTSRES90.dll file and using X1b dll will cause nothing but harm (just to warn if someone still wants to try this). I don't go in details because our Big Brother would get nervous but you just can't use X1b's dll with X1c.
