Sonar Professional missing plug-ins and Scan VST Plug-ins button is disabled

Hi,
After installing Sonar Professional some plug-ins didn't appear (addictive drums, dimension LE, etc).
The button for Scan VST Plug-ins is disabled (grayed out) in preferences / vst.
In utility / plug-in manager is also disabled.
The scan for new plugins is not working no matter the option I check in preferences (automatic, manual, etc).
There is an old post with the same problem but I didn't find a solution there.

Thanks in advance for your help

Sounds like there is a possibility your Anti Virus dumped it as a false positive.
It was probably a reputation scan. check your AV's containment / Virus chest.
If you can not recover the VST scanner, simply roll back Sonar using Command Center.
Then make an exception in your AV for Sonar itself and the plug in scanner.

The problem was the  C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\VstScan.exe not present.
Uninstalling and reinstalling SONAR from command center fixed that.
Thanks to Scook and Chuckebaby for pointing me in the right direction.
I'm so happy now I have all my plug-ins working.
Thanks again.
