Sonar SPLAT - my experience so far and an issue

Hello all

Been using SPLAT for a few months now (got the lifetime updates - thanks Cake!) and despite the occasional crash (mostly when I close a session, so usually nothing lost), it's a great update.

One thing I'm noticing, though. I have a two-monitor setup and always keep the multidock on my second monitor for the console view, synths, and effects. In previous versions, I could drag a floating window to the dock and it would lock in place. Now in SPLAT, I have to right-click and select "dock in multidock" to add a window. Does anyone else experience this? Is there a setting for this I can't find?

Thanks

Neel

Hold "Ctrl" while you drag a window to the MultiDock.
The behaviour changed some updates before.

I was sure that there was a way to change this back to automatically grab things that were dragged to the dock. I think the change you describe happened around the time that recycle plug-in windows was introduced. I looked at the docs and couldn't find the setting but I do remember a discussion about the multi-dock no longer grabbing things by default.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I went from X3 Studio to SPLAT, so there's a lot of new stuff for me.
