Sonar Synth View Organization

This proabably belongs in "wish-list" for the next version of Sonar but is there any way to organize the synths in the synth rack that I'm not aware of?

I have a lot of synths so my synth rack looks very disorganized... I'd like to be able to put for example all strings together etc... Any way organize this? As productions get more and more synth/vst instrument oriented the synth rack can become quite a mess...

No - the synth rack will only display the synths in the order in which you added them to the rack

    Hi firefly9000,

That is a really good question that I hope someone from Cake will answer.

I have fought this same thing and even though I try to plan my project and instantiate the softsynths in the order I think I need them, something Always changes and it can get quite messy.

Not sure what would be involved but we can do this with Fx in the bin so not sure why doing it in the instrument rack would be so difficult.

    Purrrfect Audio DAW here.  Wow!...
