Sonar Upgrade Path

Hey all, I'm currently using Sonar 7 Producer. Is there any upgrade option to get me to Sonar 8.5? I would like to take advantage of the greater stability and efficiency of 8.5 as well as some of the new plug-ins, but I'm not ready to go all the way to the X series, yet.

Thanks, Rob

SONAR 8.5 hasn't been available for two years or so. Your only option is to find it on the shelf of a store somewhere.
The X-series is what they're selling nowadays.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

Even if you did manage to find a copy lying around some store somewhere the likelihood is you'd have to pay full price for it as there would be no upgrade option on it.

The only way to get an upgrade deal now is to go to X2.

Yep - several stores are offering it for sale, but it's upwards of £300 from what I've seen.
