Who? Cakewalk or Digi. I don't see a difference.

If you dislike Sonar, just don't use it. The same is true for any other sequencer. I'm just getting sick of these more than stupid questions.

I don't get it. Is this something specific for the USA? My customers (here in Europe) ask me if I can do this or that. They never ask me which program or platform I use. I work with musicians, not with software developers.
This is really hard to believe. Every single week there is a topic in this forum where either steinberg or digidesign is bashed because some morons think they will make better music if they use this or that software.

Well Pro Tools must be more Pro because its got Pro in its name. But that also means of course you'd have to be a complete Tool if you choose to use it....

SONAR is 20-40% more pro than Protools.

I mean, GOSH.



I ran tests for 3 days and found that Sonars audio engine sounds 16.8% better than pro-tools--of course using the same hi quality 96bit mp3 through behringer monitors and putting up exactly 12 more egg cartons in each corner of the room.

If you are going to use PT I would not consider it using Windows, it's a Mac app through and through. I guess one could argue that they want to keep it common between platforms.

think "modifier keys" vs. "mouse buttons" when using PT. "poor hack" is a little cruel i think.
