Sonar X1 Cursor state

So.. i was clicking around in an empty project and I look up and all of a sudden, my cursor, had a small speaker Icon attached  to it..

1. what does this signify... and 2. how do I get it back?

    J is the default hotkey for activating the Scrub tool, which is what the speaker cursor represent. The hotkey used be B, and it was an on/off toggle. Now I believe you're supposed to have to hold the key down to keep it in Scrub mode, but I have seen it get "stuck" on. I'm not sure if that's some sort of intended functionality, but if you just click your scroll wheel to bring up the Tool HUD, you can change back to the Smart too or whatever you want.

    Thanks for the quick reply, worked great, i assumed it was some kind of scrub function.
