Sonar X1 Essentials: the ability to use amplitube live?

Sonar X1 Essentials: the ability to use amplitube live?

So I have had Essentials for a while and am familiar with it, but I am unable to use amplitube as live fx.  I record and the guitar has no fx, but during playback it does and it has a really annoying buzz noise. 
I don't know if the problem is obvious or not?

    Here you go Andrew - use this button to toggle Input Monitoring on and off.
