Sonar X1: How to adjust track start time?

Hey all,

I'm sometimes working with Sonar X1 thru a remote desktop. There is some latency of course
but I was hoping to offset the latency by offsetting track start times by the amount of
latency. Hopefully then the audio and visual experience will be aligned.

But I can't seem to find track offset parameter is X1 Producer.

Am I missing it somewhere?

Thanks!

I don't think what you want to do can be done. Perhaps some one else has a solution but I doubt it.

    No wonder I couldn't find it! :-)

I used to use Logic back when it was PC compatible, Logic v5, and it could do it but I never found a need for it.

That was 9 years ago. I was hoping current software would have such a feature. I'll have to look deeper in to Sonar or look for this feature in another DAW.

    Thanks John!

I'm not in front of a system I can try this on but I'll look into it tonight.

    Thanks for the suggestion Carl!

If the delay is caused by a remote control that say a tablet being used as a controller I don't see how an offset can be of any use. The delay will still be there. This is not a timing delay is it? That is tracks are not lining up?
