Sonar X1 Install Questions....

Sonar X1 Install Questions....

Finally decided, since all these patch updates that are out now, that make 8.5 more stable while loading up X1, I am going to install X1....

Only thing is, I downloaded all the installs and patches months ago, and I kinda forgot in what order everything goes... Here's what I got (and I assume they go in this order):

01 Read First Sonar X1
02 Sonar X1 Producer Part 1
02 Sonar X1 Producer Part 2
03 Beatscape
04 Dimension Pro 1.5 Set-up
04 Dimension Pro Expansion Packs
05 Sonar X1 Producer Additional Content
Producer X1A Patch
               X1B Patch
               X1C Patch
               X1D Patch
Sonar X1 Expanded
Expanded X1D Patch

And then I have these 2 files: Digital Sound Factory
                                                Maybe SONARPDR X1AHOTFIX 64-BIT

Those last 2 files I don't remember downloading, if anyone can tell me where they fall in the above order and also let my know if I have those above in the right order as well, I'd sure appreciate it... Thanks!!!

    I just did the Producer Expanded upgrade install last night via the downloaded files.
     
    I'm far from an expert and I'm sure some of the experienced forum users will chime in to assist but this is what I did and the install went smooth and effortless -
     
    Follow the numbered files for the install (the Read First file pretty much explains the correct steps) And thanks to Bristol Jonesy and John for assisting me!
     
    After installing file 05 (Sonar X1 Producer Additional Content), then install the X1C patch. Next install the Sonar X1 Expanded file. Then install the Expanded X1D patch.
     
    The biggest difference would be that I downloaded my files (18 in all) two days ago so you might want to check with the Cake Team on the most recent files to use. (And I'm not sure what these files relate to - Digital Sound Factory or Maybe SONARPDR X1AHOTFIX 64-BIT)

    Chaos Choir's install instructions are good.

    The only problem you may have is with installing the Additional Content disk. Many users have been having a problem getting the Additional Content disk to install if you had a previous installation of Dimension Pro installed on your system, yet you install the version of Dim Pro that comes with X1.

    One solution is to completely uninstall any previous version of Dim Pro, and do a clean install of the version of Dim Pro that comes with X1.
