Sonar X1 Preferences

I notice that when I open the preferences dialogue window and make a change, it takes about 3-5 seconds to close, no matter what kind of change I make.  I've never see this before.  I am running it on a  fast i7 machine, Win 7 64 bit, 16 GB ram.

Also, does anyone know how to change the color of the top bar of non-docked windows?  Right now its an ugly pastel blue color and I hate it.  I am not sure if its a Windows color or if it can be controlled in Sonar.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Having all the config settings consolidated in one big Preferences dialog has definitely increased the time it takes SONAR to parse for changes. It may also be waiting for a response from the interface driver to confirm that the sample rate and bit depth match the settings, even if you haven't changed them. In any case what you're seeing is par for the course.

If you enable floating of undocked windows (right-click the icon at the top left of the title bar), you should get the Win7 transparent title bars unless you have Aero (or parts of it) turned off. I'm not sure if it's possible to change the color of undocked, float-disabled windows. I would have thought that's controlled by Windows, but I'm not sure.
