Sonar X1 Producer does not recognize my new keyboard
Hi - I'm new to this (and any forum) and have a question/need a solution :)
I have:
ve Sonar X1 Producer
Win 7/64 bit
keyboard 1: Yamaha PSR-S910 workstation
keyboard 2: Yamaha YPG-235 keyboard (bought and sucessfully installed the driver yesterday)
When I used only keyboard 1 all was fine. Everything recorded and played back flawlessly.
After I added the new keyboard problems started:
I (MIDI) recorded a track into an existing piece of MIDI music using the new keyboard.
It recorded fine and played back fine.
I played the entire piece using both keyboards and all tracks and keyboards played fine.
I saved the new file. Turned everything off. Went to bed.
This morning I turn on my keyboards, then start Sonar, then load last night's file.
I get the message that neither of my keyboards are available.
I go into Edit Preferences and see that both keyboards are checked off, which means Sonar sees them.
I play the file anyway and all parts recorded with my old keyboard play back fine.
The new track is moving the vu meter, and I see the notes in the track, but no sound on the new keyboard.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
