Sonar X1 and Win 7?

Hi guys,

What's the minimum version of Win 7 needed to run Sonar X1 64?

Thanks,

Vic

PS: The DAW will need internet access for occassional OS updates.

Here's a comparison chart on the Microsoft site...
    http://windows.microsoft....dows7/products/compare

It looks like the lowest version that comes in 64-bit is Home Premium.

I've seen a Win7 Starter version bundled with certain Netbooks (mini laptops).

Though technically, that might work with X1, I can't imagine it would run very well.

Home Premium is probably the most "practical" minimum version to use with X1.

*Edit:  I should have read the OP's post a bit closer.  I missed the 64 bit part... I don't think the Starter version comes in 64 bit.  Regardless, the answer is still the same:  Go with Home Premium.
