Sonar X1 and Yamaha mLan (01x - i88x)

Can someone confirm that those device will work also on Sonar X1, as they work with all the previous editions of Sonar?

    I don't see why not. X1 still supports ASIO and Mackie Control emulation, so those two pieces should work in X1 as they did in 8.5.

    Having said that, we haven't specifically tested X1 with those devices.

    Ok, thank you.....

    I will upgrade to X1 for sure (I use cake products starting from CAKEWALK pro Audio 4.0. - a huge time!!!).

    As probably one of the last 01x users on the planet, I'm wondering if you have your 01x working with SONAR X1?
    I sent a PM to you with more detail so as not to clutter the forum.

    Seth/other Cakewalk personnel,
    Any ideas on why my 01x works as a control surface (Mackie control) in SONAR 7 Producer (XP32 SP3) but not in SONAR X1 Producer (Win7 x64)?  I am probably missing something in the setup (MIDI I/O or control surface - I see there are several Mackie options in X1).  Audio I/O works in either OS/SONAR version.

    Word of warning  - I am using Win7 x64, and as joegab knows the 01x setup in that environment is a bit touchy.

    Any assistance will be greatly appreciated

    I sent you a PM .... (let me know if you don't get it...).
     
    Basically, try to check into Graphic Patchbay if all 5 midi ports are avaiable.... (Sonar MUST read at least 3 midi in/out)...
