Sonar X1 mute tool Bug Fix \ problem solution !!

Im writing this thread for anyone who upgraded to Sonar X1 and encountered the problem of the new Mute Tool not working - that it doesnt do anything at all.
 
I want to warmly thank Rick Paul that wrote on the google forums the solution for this problem that was given to him by Cakewalk support team.It worked for me and I hope it will help those who need it as well.  
So here it is, copied from Rick's message -

This morning Cakewalk replied that they think it was due to a registry setting that got erroneously copied over by the migration wizard (I was upgrading from SONAR 8.5).
They asked me to try deleting the following registry entry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\SONAR Producer\X1\ToolView] "TimeDragMode"=dword:00000000
then start SONAR again to see if the Mute Tool worked properly.  It did.
I thought the information might be useful in case anyone else is seeing
this problem.  It looks like it would only have occurred if you upgraded
from a previous version of SONAR and allowed the migration wizard to
copy your settings from that previous version.  It also likely relies on
your having changed the default behavior of the Mute Tool in that
previous version.  This probably explains why others here were not
seeing the issue (though anyone who'd set the previous preference like I
did also would have seen it).
