Sonar X1: scanning folder on startup, can it be avoded?

Hi When I start my Sonar X1, it decides to scan for softsaynths etc every time....and I have to sit there and answer "activate, deactivate..." for a laaaaarge number of softsynths. The whole procedure easily takes 10 or more minutes, and I have to sit tere and wait... It seems strange that this needs to be done every time, when nothing has happened in the mean time. Any suggestions as to how this can be avoided? regards Håkon (seasoned & happy user of Sonar 5, not so much a fan of X1....)

Just disable VST scan upon Startup in your preference menu

    Thank me!

Why do you have to activate, deactivate your VSTs each time?

X1 has an improved scan that should only take a split second to do. If you have already had a scan it should look for new VSTs only. If there are none it will not scan.

    And welcome to the forum.
