Sonar X1A + MCU Users ........ quick question ?

Hi all  !
 
For those of  you / us  using an MCU with Sonar X1A ...... when assigning the  8  MCU  Function  [  F1 <-> F8  ]  Buttons ......... is the menu option to  select  " Track Input Monitoring  "  not there anymore  or  has it been re-named  or  am I  just not seeing it   ?

    Not sure about that particular one but many of the functions have been missed out/moved or not available. If it is no longer a global command it's probably unavailable as an assignment. That has happened to several commands I used to use.

    X1 was terrible, X1a is a considerable improvement. I'm hoping it gets even better in X1b.

    I've put in several feature requests/bug reports regarding the MCU/Mackie protocol. Fingers crossed for X1b.....

    are we mcu users a large enough group to get and special requets filled?  maybe we should share our feature requests with eachother and all post the same ones.  fas bikerboy,  if u tell me what u reported, i will report it too.

    I've asked for...........

    Exposure of all menu items to the MCU, not just those in the main menu but those in the 'new' track/prv and other view menus, that can't currently be accessed from the MCU (That probably affects all ACT devices as well)

    Exposure of the prochannel compressor and tube saturation to the MCU - preferably as separate entities. The Compressor as a recognised "Dyn" compatible compressor so I can get it recognised on the compressor (DYN) button.

    Update of the MackieControl.dll to bring some of the functions that have changed in X1 back, obscure ones such as M4+Fit tracks which used to hide the selected track.

    A fixing of my pet peeve - the automation of the channel mute. It's documented as working but actually doesn't an in my experience never has.........

    Er......... I think that's it.

    The more people that put in requests the more likely it is someone may listen, I would have thought. Of course I have no scientific proof of that.....
