Sonar X1C Project Won't Play - DROPOUT!

This is an odd one that has me perplexed.  Two nights ago I worked on an open session in Sonar X1C that I've worked on 50 times before.  I'm in the 32bit environment.  I saved the project and called it a night.

The next night(last night) I went to open this project to continue work on it.  The project opened, but as soon as I hit play I get a drop out? Won't play at all - not a single sound. Very odd.  I didn't play around with anything else in the settings so I'm not sure why it wouldn't work.

I closed that project and opened another project and it played fine.  It had soft synths and approximately the same CPU/RAM usage as the project that wouldn't play. Hmm?

So tonight, I try it again. Same thing. This project wouldn't play at all.  One of the synths was open and I'm able to get sound through.  I resent all the configs, moved the latency to the far extreme- NOTHING! I followed the directions and rebundled my project and moved it to another drive. Same issue.  Fails to play immediately. I went  into the projec and removed every single track effect. Same thing.

I open other projects and they play fine!  What is the story here. Anyone have any thoughts that can help me track this one down.  For giggles I tried to play the project in the 64 bit environment, same exact issue.  HELP!!! 2 Months of work down the drain here!!

Is this project at 48Khz whilst the others are at 44.1.... or 16 bit vs 24 bit?

Maybe the project file is corrupt. Try to "save as" give it a new name and see if it will play, then.

if you want to save this file ..drag and drop those tracks in to a new project..it sux but its about all you can do.
go to your old project and save the midi in a folder in explorer.. your audio files are stored in your project folder.set up your synths then drop in your midi from the browser.once you get used to it its easy.i myself back up most midi tracks in my own library

    Windows 8.1 X64 Sonar Platinum x64
