Sonar X1,X2 working with drums patterns

Hi, I am trying to create some drums track using Superior Drummer and EZ Drummer within Sonar X2. I would like to use presets(4 bars long) from Toontrack library just drag and drop them into midi track. Now,when i do that pattern is shorter than 4 bars and i have to manualy level and keep the song in time. For example in Reaper or Cubase it never occures. Also when i try to expand that pattern there is just blank midi space, not like in Reaper when i can easly multiply preset with one move. I really like new Sonar, the only pain is that drums creating process. Is any chance to make that easier?

Not an expert, but it sounds like you need to make them into groove clips so you can just drag them to the length you need?
(Rt Clk the clip and Control L -or "Groove Clip Looping")
