Sonar X1b download not successful--2nd time around already.

anyone else having any problem downloading X1b? This is my second time around and it shows no progress or time left in the bar.

    its happen to a few users..just keep downloading till it goes through..i had to do a second one.

    I had to use Firefox to download all my updates to X1, doesn't deem to work in IE.

    I had chronic problems with IE not being able to download from the Amazon servers that Cakewalk uses to distribute software. Firefox and Chrome work fine. IE9 seemed to resolve that problem, but it has issues with the Cakewalk forum.

    I had that problem with Seamonkey. In the download progress control, I clicked pause - then go, and it took off and completed.

    OK--I will try that. I don't even have IE on my other computers but since I don't go online much on the DAW I never bothered.

    got the file but it has a .part extension whatever that is--like only a part of it?

    I ended up using a download manager 'GetRight' to download anything from cakewalk, it would never download otherwise.

    SONAR Platypus on Win10 64bit.
    Studio One Pro / Cubase Pro 9.5...just in case.

    michael just use freedownloadmanager instead, as I'm pretty sure the site supports "resume"

    even if it drops the connection it'll resume.

    the "part" file in firefox is the incomplete download.. if you press ctrl + j  , maybe it allows you to resume ?

    but I'd try FDM instead, been using it for years.
