Sonar X1d Update ??

 Just update for X2, gee so i am forced to buy that !! Just had X1 for 1 year ( Correction : 6 months ), cant afford upgrading yet. I want my upgrade for X1 plz. !!

    Well Im kinda with ya but here a good way to look at it.


    Its basically $100 a year to keep upgraded which gets us the current support and upgrades, not to mention this wonderful FREE forum which can be PRICELESS when ya really get in a bind    


    To me not a bad trade for what you really do get 


    The only choice that makes it difficult is actually when to make the leap to the current Version

    Guess ill just stick to X1 for at least 1 year more, then see what happens. Yeah great support, great forums. Have fun with your new shiny X2a upgrade folk's. No shiny stuff for me.... uhhuuuuuu :/

    Well, to be fair, X1 is still shiny new to you.

    I generally update Sonar right before the new version comes out, after all of the patches have been released.

    SONAR X1 had a 2 year shelf life. $99 upgrade from 8.5 over a 2 year period is only $50/year. Now another $99 to upgrade to X2 which will also likely have a 2 year life cycle. Considering that there are numerous  minor revisions and a major update in each version cycle that's pretty good value.

    It's all a matter of timing when to jump in on the upgrade cycle
