Its not violent.. Latin derivative meaning, "great." In the USA there might be a few bullets named with it, but there are plenty of companies and products using the name.. from chocolates, to wine, to research and engineering... :-) I thought about, "Limited." Sonar X2 Limited as in, "Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited," but I thought, "limited," would confuse the non-USA customer base... Magnum = Latin Derivative = Widely Understood. I admit, there are few caliber types of bullets using the name.. but not the worldwide understanding of the word, imho...

https://soundcloud.com/a-pleasure-dome http://www.bnoir-film.com/ there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

Perhaps we should re-name both X1 and X2. X1 could be called Gustav and X2 could be called Dorah. Named after 2 1350-ton cannons requiring its own train to move and taking three days to assemble. They could fire 80-cm (31-inch) caliber concrete-piercing shells weighing seven tons—as much as a bus—over 25 miles. I believe this would provide what the OP indicated as an international flavor along with a suitable caliber (much larger than a magnum), a short learning curve and a significant fear factor. All things purpose designed to impress the end user. The struggle would be over coming the violent nature of this..."caliber" since similar to the magnum these were designed to inflict great fear, panic and a sense of impending danger when they showed up...Hmmmm, on second thought, never mind...:)

Moving to M might be a bit too soon. F thru L have lots of good choices. And this progression allows for many years of alphabetical happiness. Sure N-Z have a bunch of good metal suffixes: Nickle, Niobium, Titanium, Xenon But F-L also have some good ones: Fantastic, Huge, Immense, Jurassic, Lumpy,....
