I seem to recall a date on the 'Buy X1 now get X2 free' promo that said before Oct. 31, 2012. So my guess, and that's all it is, would be Nov. 1 2012.

My best guess is some date after Windows 8 is on store shelves. If Win 8 Support is baked into X2.... I'd want to wait until OS was on the shelves and fully supported by MS.
