Sonar X3 Bug on opening

Occasionally, I will open a project in Sonar, and the Master VU meter will be at +9.0 on load, even if nothing is playing. I've tried opening different files, closing and reopening, but the only thing that seems to fix it is a reboot of the computer. Any ideas how to fix this issue?
