Sonar X3 Staff View gives me too much space between notes ruining my editing/drag&drop.

Hi everybody! I used to have an old account here but since things have changed (SSD accounts or wharever that is) I made a new account since I was doing fine in Sonar X3 but now I dont know why when Im writing/editing midi in the Staff View every time I choose a note duration lets say a quarter note this thing keeps writing those quarter notes in a 1/128th space so writing music becomes a mess, Snap to Grid seems fine or at least I tried every combination and even selecting everything as whole notes but it keeps giving me too much space, I made a video so you guys can see what I mean.

    How much space does a 128th note symbol occupy in staff view compared to a quarter note symbol? I always thought those notes occupied the same amount of space but one just had more flags? Are you talking about the horizontal bar in piano roll view? The width of those changes with the note duration. If so you probably have to reset your horizontal zoom.

    What I mean is if Im working for example with quarter notes and the snap is set to move in quarter notes the staff editor moves hundreds of places during a drag & drop/simply notating a note... ruining the whole purpose of writing stuff in quarter notes because it doesnt write in quarter notes as the video shows.
    I dont use piano roll but works fine as Im checking.
