Sonar X3 Studio help?!?!?

Hello everyone,
I was curious if there are any good tutorials out there to help me with the basics of Sonar X3 studio? I am new to all this and am having issues getting started. Just needing basic guidance not ready for advanced options yet. Thank you for any input.

    Welcome, cesweet79.

There are plenty of free videos on the Cakewalk site - look for Cake TV. Their videos are also on their YouTube channel.

There are also some tutorials in the manual, which I highly recomend working through.

Groove 3also do some great videos - Eli's X3 video is excellent.

If you come across any specific issues whilst trawling through them all, post a new thread here and someone will help out.

Maybe even pop back to tell us how you are getting on, too.  Sonar is a fantastic program, but, like any DAW, can be quite a steep learning curve.

    Happy Sonar-ing.

You might want to try Sonar X3 Power by Scott Garrigus. He gives step by step instructions on how to use Sonar and its plugins. I bought his book and have learned more than using the Cakewalk on line help.  Book is available at Amazon.com.
