Sonar X3 and Guitar Rig 4

Would like to use GR 4 which came with Sonar X1.
Is it possible and how can I get it loaded in X3?

Thank's in advance for your cooperation and input.

Yes, make sure that the plug in scanner scans the directory where the GR4 .dll is located.

If you don't have X1 installed on your DAW anymore, you may be able to do a custom install of X1 and only choose to install GR4.

    Thank you.
I installed GR4 directly from NI, with serial # and activation code. It's installed in the Cakewalk VST plug-in on the computer but Sonar X3 does not seem to scan that area.
GR4 software work fine as a stand alone, but I can't seem to be able to run it in X3 or if it is there I can't see it anywhere.
I could run it and see it inSonar X2 but nothing in X3.
    Please help if possible.

    Thank you.

Find where Guitar Rig 4.dll is located.

Edit>Preferences>File>VST Settings - check filepath is there, if not, hit "Add Button" and navigate to correct folder containing GR4.

    The default location is: C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\vstplugins\Guitar Rig\

In that folder you'll find two sub-folders for the 32bit and 64bit versions.
