Sonar X3 download

Is anyone else having problems downloading X3?
I am geting a rate of 10KB/sec. It will take me days to download the files/

    No issues, although I have 70/50 Internet speed.  Took about 30 minutes to download

    Giovanni, it looks that I am on a unlucky side of the world. Although I have a 3meg dl connection.

    Try to disable Antivirus. Took me about 20 minutes per part in United States.

    no antivirus here, Iam downloading it on a mac.
    it happen before for x2, took me ages...

    I was having difficulty obtaining parts 2 and 3. Everything else downloaded pretty smoothly and quickly.

    I was errors contacting the server for parts 2 and 3. The hold up has cleared now and I've downloaded them as well.

    Definitely looking forward to completing the install!

    Are folks reinstalling Dimension Pro and the loops as well? I see they are part of the files but was wondering if the update would recognize that I already have those and the loops installed. Anyone have advice on that?

    Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

    Don't bother with DimPro or "Loops and One Shots" they are identical to the files shipped with X2.

    scook - I haven't read through the install directions yet so it's probably a stupid question. Is the X3 Producer upgrade something that installs in its own set of directories? Can you not select say the loops or Dimension Pro, and it knows where to reference them so they are not needed in the install?

    All versions of SONAR install in separate directories. Some parts of all versions of SONAR are common such as Vstplugins and Shared Utilities. Both DimPro and "Loops and One Shots" are separate installers. They are not part of the SONAR install process.

    I am still having problems to download X3.
    I remember I had the same problem when downloading X2 a year ago. There must be another tread about it...
    Do CW have other alternative links for a different server?
    Or can someone send me a dropbox link or something?

    Seems like Amazon Web Services has a poor presence in Africa in general. Cloudfront, which is what is serving up our downloads, uses the AWS Edge Locations. See here for their Edge locations: http://aws.amazon.com/abo.../globalinfrastructure/
     
    No matter what way you slice it, there's not a good connection to Mozambique.
     
    Joni, I can work on trying to get you alternate links via Dropbox, YouSendIt, or a similar service. This is going to take some time though (I'll have to download, upload, etc.) but I definitely don't mind taking a shot at it.

    I have a fair connection, for african standards: 8mbps.
    I can easily get speeds up to 1000KB/sec for sites in the USA.
    But from your servers I can't get speeds faster than 10KB/sec. Crazy!!! Some really bad link between us.
