The new Quad EQ is everything I could hope for. I think I could learn to sorta like X3 if I tried really, really hard.

Why is it that the videos are about the plugins and not about the
program itself?  I'd be more interesting in the EQ, and the new
features of the program itself...there are a plethora of
videos out there about the plugins...

QuadCurve EQ is a very nice addition to the PC but how does it differ from say FabFilter Q (which actually allows as many curves as you can throw at it)?

Yes but since I already own FabFilter-Q I'm trying to decide if I need Producer vs Studio since all my existing X2 PC modules will appear in X3 Studio version (confirmed by Andrew).

I already took my relationship with Cakewalk to the next level by pulling the trigger on SONAR X3 Producer. Downloading now! A no brainer for me. I have a couple of items I will check on immediately and report back on. These items have to do with automation envelopes and selection behavior. I am very excited.

Have to agree 100% with this. The spectrum analyzer is a most welcome addition to what was already a fine EQ.

They even remembered the keyboard reference ala DMG equilibrium. I don't think I'll be using other EQ's anymore seeing this new version.
