Sonar X3 issue sending from track to sidechain on bus

Hello!
 
As the topic says I am having problems with putting up a send on a track and assigning it to the sidechain on plugins on a bus. To be more concrete; I am able to make the assignment, but the plugin receives nothing in the sidechain. This is not a problem when sending from track to track. I have tried different plugins. What am I doing wrong?
