Sonar X3 - looping midi event

Hi, I want to loop a midi clip.  If I just drag the clip, the midi data doesn't loop, it just extends the length of the clip.  I right click on the event and switch on Groove Looping but this still doesn't work.  The only way I've got it to work is to switch on Groove Looping and then uncheck the "Looping" box in the clip's properties.  Am I doing that right?  It seems a little odd to have to turn off "Looping"?

Thanks!

Select the clip then CTRL+L to make the clip a Groove Clip. Then drag the edge of the clip. Groove clips have slighty rounded corners. For more info see http://www.cakewalk.com/D...p;help=Looping.14.html

Thanks Skook.  However, it just doesn't do this. I get the rounder corners, I drag the edge and the clip loops but the midi data is not there, the looped clips are blank?

It appears to draw the data after the mouse button is released. At least that is how it works for me.
