Sonar X3e - arm a track & Sonar will stop or start 15 to 20 seconds byitself

All works fine for 6 months till I arm a track to record.  I have found that if I wait 15 to 20 seconds it will start recording by itself or if I start recording it will stop recording in 15 to 20 seconds.  I've done a complete clean re-install but still doing it.   I was using X2 for over a year with no problems and now it does the same thing too. 
I'm using a PreSonus Firestudio mobile, a Dell Pc.

    Intuitively my first suspect is your qwerty keyboard. Letter R is malfunctioning. Does, say, shaking the keyboard
    have any effect on the behaviour? Or, if you use other external hardware for transport functions, this hardware is a suspect, IMO.
    Audio interface shouldn't have any role in this. If a malware can cause such. I don't know.
