Sonar and Focusrite

I'm using Sonar X2 on a desktop computer with windows 10 and a thunderbold card Ex3 to connect with a Focusrite Clarett 2 pre.
The connection is no problem, Sonar finds the device and the drivers, but it almost imediately crashes every time I connect.
There has been a lot of trouble with the set up so far, it's already for months that I try to fix this. I'm getting quit desperate.
Do I need a certain upgrade from sonar to make it work?
I've tried to contact the suport from Sonar but it's under construction for over a month allready?????????? Good service.
Is there anybody who can help me, please?
Kind regards, Luc.

I assume the support page at https://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Email/TechnicalSupport/CSPT100  ?

Cakewalk Inc. is no longer in business, which is why that page is dead.

Cakewalk's assets have been bought by BandLab, and they've released the latest version of Sonar as "Cakewalk by BandLab" for free.

Although BandLab's support is excellent, I doubt if you'll get support for Sonar X2.

I'd advise downloading and installing Cakewalk by BandLab. Don't uninstall Sonar X2 though - CbB will happily live alongside it and will pick up all your Sonar X2 settings and extra content that came with it.

If you're still having the same issue with CbB, I'm sure BandLab support will be happy to help.

[Edit] - The new URL for Cakewalk by BandLab support is: https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us  (click on the "Submit a Request" link on the top right)
