Sonar and Music creator projects

Are sonar and music creator projects interchangeable? or at least can Music creator projects come over into sonar? I understand some effects and what not might transfer but is it still just a cakewalk projects file?

    Yes with the limitations you have noted. This is true for all Cakewalk DAWs.
