Sonar and SoundToys

I use Sonar 8.5 x64 with Windows 7, and I have demoed SoundToys Native Bundle. SoundToys, for those who don't know, has amazing high-quality plugins--LOVE THEM! My favorite, can't live without these days is Decapitator. Problem is, SoundToys, as some here know, has issues in Sonar x64. Specifically (as near as I can say) GUI problems in Sonar (and Sonar only of all DAWs) cause freezes and crashes. Even when it's not crashing, the GUI freeze and anomalies cause weird workflow issues. jBridge helps (SoundToys is only 32bit--another issue) but it is still a major PITA workflow and I'm not able to use SoundToys to it's potential with Sonar, I feel. I've done searches here and everywhere, and I've contacted SoundToys. Always a fix is just a few weeks off--for months now.

So my question here, Is Cakewalk doing all they can to help SoundToys with this issue? I got at least a hint of an answer to this when I talked with SoundToys? (um, not so much... was the hint.) So, would you, could you, please will you work with SoundToys on this issue?

Of course, now that I've written this, the fix should come anytime...

Peace,
Perry

I feel your pain there Perry, ol pal.  I've recently made the move to 64bit everything and, sad to say, have lost the stability required to use my beloved SoundToys bridged with either BitBridge or JBridge.  I've sent a couple of pestering emails to Mitch at SoundToys bugging them to go 64bit but as of yet...no love.  I honestly don't know exactly what Cake could do but if there is something I too wish they would do it.  These are some of the best and most sought after plugs and sounds in the industry...it's time they were "truly pro" and worked in a 64 bit environment.  Plus, I WANT THEM BACK!!!!  Dern it.

    Hey y'pal,
Yes, ain't it a pain?! But not only am I not giving up--I've bought the SoundToys bundle today! And I will most certainly upgrade to X1 in Dec. So, what could Cakewalk do? I don't know. What I know is that Soundtoys kinda said Cakewalk's not cooperating or not being forthcoming with cooperation. Can't say if this is true or not, just reporting what I heard. And so,....

Cakewalk, if this is the case and SoundToys could use input from you on how to make their GUI work right in Sonar, please, PLEASE call them, help them, assist them!! I love Sonar, and I love SoundToys. Let's make peace on Earth and in the realm of music making.

Count me in this camp too, although I will say I have found things that Soundtoys will do that I can't find in other plugs, so I NEED Soundtoys more than I need Sonar. I'm just a guy who just wants to record audio with the occasional midi track added.
That being said I look forward to the X1 update.

This why I resisted going to the "new" technoligies until they become the norm.  Most of my plugs are not 64 bit, so it makes sense for me to stay 32 Bit.

SoundToys stuff is great, BTW. It's right up there with UAD, Waves, etc. that people seem to love.  :)

I'm curious if anyone is now able to run Soundtoys via bitbridge or jbridge in 64 mode without issues?

I can use it fine in 32 bit mode, but when I use it in Sonar X1d via bitbridge, the GUIs seem a bit buggy, and it always seems to hang bitbridge.

I don't have jbridge, as most of the plugs I use are either 64 bit or play fine with bitbridge. Curious as to others' experiences. I do love these plugs! Wish they'd release 64bit versions.
