Sonar and touch screen monitor

Hi All

I have Sonar Artist installed and have just added a touchscreen monitor (primarily for multi screen display). I am using Windows 7 but hope to upgrade to Windows 10. 2 simple questions on this.

1/ I know multi touch is not supported on this OS but single touch does work on any button, switch, transport controls etc not so on the mixer volume faders and pan rotary controls. However it DOES work on any plugin with a fader, rotary etc. and in Ableton Live. Why is this, is there a fix/workaround.

2/ This question may negate the above problem, but am not ready to upgrade yet. So, manual states that mutli touch support including faders and pan rotary etc is support in Windows 8 - am I safe in presuming this is the case for Windows 10 ?

many thanks.
Vic

Multi-touch is supported on Win 10.
