Sonar bugs

I'm feeling a bit frustrated today.

1. I'm trying to automate the volume on a track and I have the read W button lit but it's not recording the envelope. I've automated things tons of times and I'm doing what I always do. Only this time...nothing
2. Piano role view. Try to place a note anywhere in the note pane before or after and it inserts it at the second half of the third measure....always.
3. Staff view- I  copy something and paste it (telling it exactly where, with paste special) and it paste it 2-3 measure back.

What am I doing wrong (if I am) and if not anyone else experiencing this crap?

Thank you in advance for any feedback!

    Hi , Mrs. Anni,
I can not comprehend the issue you have with the writing
of an automation curve, running a Win 7 64 bit and Splat 64 bit with a
    core i 7 here.
Have lots of tracks in different projects with at least 20 automation envelopes ,
more or less all written via typing the W- button (which of cause is shining red if activated)
for writing during  playing and typing R for reading that curve afterwards.
Don´t know how I can help cause you are not writing about your system specs
and the Sonar version you are using .
It´s remerkable that this issue occurs now and not before.
    regards

It seems to be happening to this one project. I can't automate any of the tracks. I tried another project and was able to automate just fine. But that project (the one that was fine for automation) was the one I had problems with on the PRV.

OK I feel like a total idiot. I just discovered the solution to the automation problem. I had done some audio recording and I had the punch on. Turned it off and automation is fine.

I still don't have the other things resolved though.

    Hello.
Relating the 2 "bug" , please look at the snap to grid value in up right corner of piano roll. Or type N and disable snap to grid a see if it works...

Sure you are not an idiot, DAW´s are just complex pieces of software
    and Sonar is no exceptional.
Have no idea abouit the staff view issue - never using it ......

Piangio hind seems to be a good one.
Otherwise it could be a good idea, to roll the hopkinton update back,
    cause everything worked well before.
    Have fun
