Sonar can't find any of them !!!

Hi,
Had to get my PC looked at, now it's been repaired, I seem to have lost the ability to use my hardware, Maschine, doesn't show up
in Sonar, or even work as a standalone, nor does my Spark hardware, again even as a standalone, is this do do with drivers, have I
somehow lost the drivers, and do I need to download the drivers again, is it as simple as that? Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks
John

    Hi,

I would swear that a system restore took place or some kind of restore action that put you system in a state before the hardware was installed. I would see if they were still in programs and features in control panel. If they are, see if you can uninstall them (doubt it) and then try to reinstall. If they are not there simply reinstall and let see where that gets us.

Reinstalling the drivers is probably the answer if plugging into a USB port doesn't bring up the installing new driver dialog.

I concur with Anderton. If Windows can't find hardware, it probably means the drivers are now missing or messed up. Whatever was done to your system may have reset part of the registry. Some devices require that the driver be installed before connecting the USB so just connecting the USB may not work.
