Sonar can only import one video per project.

    Windows 10 64bit fully patched, 16 gig ram .

    CPU: i5 4670.
    Video: Nvidia GTX560ti (latest drivers).
Audio IF: Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen

    Internet always on.

    Software
    : Cakewalk by Bandlab (2018.09 B29)
    ASIO mode. 24bit 48khz 256 samples
    Rapture Pro, AAS GS2, VS-3, EP-4, VA-2, Chromophone 2, Z3TA+ 2, Addictive drums 2, Addictive Keys, Mpowersynth (latest), Iris 2, GPO5, Sampletank 3,

    See if this might help:

Works really well, and low cpu usage as well. Well worth $15 for sure.

Many daws allow only one video track - and read about one guy that got a new version of video he was making score for - and he needed to compare how new change scenes - and move markers and everything.

Read FAQ also about Sonar what works. But demo can be run as you please.
You don't get thumbnails - but works if you just need more clips.
Putting a midi C-note on timeline for each instance tell where it starts playing and just a checkbox in menu to use that feature.

If you really need video editor look at Cyberlink PowerDirector which is really good.
    https://www.cyberlink.com...ures_en_EU.html?item=2
All editing done there - and just do audio in daw.

SONAR is most definitely not a video editor. It imports your video so you can compose to it.

    Have a look here
    http://vidplayvst.com/index.htm
    Read FAQ about Sonar limitations.

I looked at this a while ago. It worked well. Looks like they've done quite a bit of work on recent upgrades. This is a great idea and would be a super fit for (eg) home studio. Thanks for posting.
