Sonar essential and fastrack pro

I have all drivers set to ASIO (fastrack 1 & 2 channels) and I am unable to get any meter movement while recording. I can hear what I'm playing but that's it, no playback at all. Running on Windows 7 64bit 120gb SSD 16G RAM I3 proc. If anyone has had this prob....I need help!

Check the Windows mixer and the FastTrack's control panel application. You probably have the channel muted or turned down.
