Sonar goes back to demo mode..??
Hi, I'm using Sonar platinum, and have purchased the monthly updates for 2017. I wanted to check if anyone experiences this issue recently, whereby: Everytime I launch SONAR I will have a notification asking to "personalize your user setting by copying application data files..." And after entering, there will be another message saying that my membership has expired and SONAR is now running in Demo mode...?

Hey thanks for the quick reply. Yes I made a one-time payment for the 2017 season pass, which itself is an upgrade from Platinum '16. I forgot to add in another fact - my version is purchased via Steam, not sure if this helps. I tried contacting Steam for help but they keep rerouting me back to Cakewalk....

Try signing into CCC again. Many have been reporting that their monthly payment status as shown in the About screen has been updated to Owned. I suspect there is work behind the scenes fixing all these issues as they take priority over folks who already own Sonar as in fully paid.

I purchased Sonar Platinum on Feb 14 2017 and downloaded with redemption code and everything was working fine until I had a computer hick-up and had to re-install everything and now it is in Demo mode and you cannot get anything out of Cakewalk as the have closed down all avenues of contact saying their site is under re-construction. This is a deplorable way to treat their customers.

Cakewalk, the company, has closed. All products have been bought by BandLab Technologies. This was only a few days ago. Tech support is currently (almost) none existent but will hopefully start to improve in the very near future as the new company gets up to speed. To answer your "demo mode" concern, run CCC to force connection to the authorisation server (which is still working). Your Sonar licence should have been upgraded to never expire, even if you didn't complete a full 12 month pay instalment cycle.

Have tried re-installing several times through CCC and still the same comes up that it is in demo mode. It is the only product that will not download in the list of my products. I paid the full price for the product so that would give me a 12 month updates period. I inserted the redemption code and this was accepted but for some reason it only quotes a license I had for this product way back in 2015 and has somehow rated this as a demo version and doesn't show the updated licence for the product just purchased and if I try to re-enter the redemption code it states that this code has been used.

If you re-enter a coupon redemption code it will always say its already been used. The only one able to help you (beyond saying "try re-installing it") is Noel, who should have access to accounts and back end systems. It won't download unless there's something new to download... (or you don't have it in the download cache). You are logged in to CCC with the correct account info?
