Sonar is TRASHING my Waves and NI plug settings! Consistently!

At first I thought this was just a Sonar/NI thing. Because as I've documented before, Sonar will frequently load a project with all dials on Guitar Rig hosted plugs set to zero. I have to go through every damn one of them and load a preset before I work on the project. This happens 50% of the time. I've tried everything. I've asked questions on the NI forums. I've asked questions on here. No luck. It continues to be a huge problem. 

But now Sonar is trashing settings on some of my Waves plugins too. Most notably, the Q-series EQ. I use them in FX Chains in the ProChannels. I just loaded up a project I've been working for ages on, and it's just reset every damn instance of Waves Q-series EQ's, as if I'd just loaded the plug. All of my cuts and filters, that I'd worked so hard on, are gone. I've loaded autosaved versions of the project and they're all the same too. I'm so goddamn p***ed about this you would not believe. 20+ tracks with the EQ just completely gone.

But it's not just Waves EQ plugs. I have a few instances of the Waves H-delay too, and they are loading with the mix level set to 100%, and the BPM setting reset to 120. 

I want to know what it is about Sonar that is either sending these plugs a message to reset themselves, or saving the project without the plug settings. If it's a setting that I haven't sussed, please let me know! I would love this to have a simple answer. But so far I haven't seen anything in the settings that would have any effect on this. 

If however it's the case that Sonar does not play nice with Waves or Native Instruments plugs, then Sonar jolly well ought to get to the bottom of this, and they certainly should not be offering Waves bundles on offer, as I notice they are now. I've already established with Waves that their SuperTap plugs don't play nice with Sonar...they say they're looking into it. I'd really like to know what's happening with my Guitar Rig hosted effects as well. As far as I know, a DAW should save all of your plug presets with the project file, and they should be recreated perfectly every time you load the project. For some reason, Sonar is loading my projects with all dials set to zero and it's killing me!

No help on the problem, but if you want you can PM me and get me the project. Once I have it I can open up the fx plugs and, if they load correctly on my system, I can send you fx presets so you can restore your settings.

Thank you so much for the offer, but I got them back! I kept closing and opening the project, and eventually my band settings reappeared, although I had to turn all of the bands back on. Really want to know what Sonar's up to re: this.
